Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Ilmiah Informatika & Sistem Informasi (e-ISSN: - ) undergo a two-stage review process consisting of an initial screening and a substantive review.

The initial screening is conducted by the editorial team to evaluate the manuscript’s alignment with the journal’s aims and scope, adherence to the journal’s language style, and compliance with the writing guidelines. Plagiarism checks are performed using Google Scholar and Turnitin. The duration of this stage ranges from 1 to 2 weeks.

A single-blind substantive review is then carried out by at least two reviewers. The review process typically takes 3 to 8 weeks. If necessary, reviewers may request additional revisions and subsequent reviews after the authors resubmit their revised manuscript.

The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations. Accepted manuscripts that have completed the layout process will be published in the In Progress edition prior to the scheduled regular issue, allowing them to be indexed and cited promptly.
