Abstrak

The development of digital technology has reshaped students’ shopping habits, particularly through e- commerce platforms. Online shopping provides convenience and saves time, yet it also tends to encourage consumptive behavior. This study explores the influence of e-commerce and financial literacy on students’ consumer behavior. Literature shows that financial literacy plays a vital role in helping students manage their money, distinguish between needs and wants, and avoid impulsive purchases. However, many students still lack sufficient financial understanding, making them vulnerable to promotions, trends, and the ease of digital shopping features. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is crucial to help students become more responsible and mindful in managing their expenses in today’s digital era.
