Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi dan Kewirausahaan (JIEK) (e-ISSN: 2963-6396, p-ISSN: 1411-3880) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Universitas Nusa Megarkencana, Yogyakarta. The journal is issued twice a year, in March and October. Its scope covers the fields of Economics, Management, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.
Manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Ilmiah Ekonomi dan Kewirausahaan (JIEK) (e-ISSN: 2963-6396, p-ISSN: 1411-3880) undergo a two-stage evaluation process: an initial screening and a substantive review.
The initial screening is carried out by the editorial team to assess the manuscript’s suitability with the journal’s aims and scope, adherence to the journal’s language style, and compliance with the Fokus Ekonomi author guidelines. Plagiarism checks are conducted using Google Scholar and Turnitin. This stage typically takes 1–2 weeks.
A comprehensive single-blind review is then conducted by at least two reviewers. This stage requires approximately 3–8 weeks. If necessary, reviewers may request a resubmission after the authors revise their manuscript.
The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations. Accepted manuscripts that have been typeset will be published in the In Progress section prior to the release of the regular issue, enabling them to be indexed and cited promptly.
